If your windows begin to fog over, turn on your defroster. On cold days, to prevent moisture from forming on the inside of the glass, turn the heater on high and let the engine warm up before you turn on the defroster. In wet conditions, as you are passing or being passed, turn on your windshield wipers. Also, if you are on a two-lane road and are approaching an oncoming vehicle, activate your wipers. Be prepared to clear your windshield before dirt and water can be sprayed all over your vehicle.
