I debuted the Prelude's newest look at Nisei last year, and wanted to continue the tradition. I see Nisei as the show of the best JDM builds outside of Japan. They are truly incredible, and this year the Chronicles was able to garner a group of the most inspiring car builds ever. I love them for their amazing attention to detail and inspiring ideas of pushing the limits. To be honest, unfortunately due to the fad of Hellaflush, which was scheduled in Long Beach on the same day, foot traffic to Nisei was bad. Despite that fact, it allowed more personal time with people, allowing me to have some really great conversations with good people. Anyhow, here is my coverage. Oh, and it was HOT.I actually woke up at 3:45 to prep my car. I had been so busy during the week I pushed it all the way to the last minute, which ended up working out great.
Oh, excuse the watermarks, people stealing photos forces me to do that.
Lane neighbors were great, hung out with the EG's owner and friend under my canopy, and the red EF was my lane neighbor last year!

I still love Hachis
 Really enjoyed the DC2s

I always love the Bandits' turnout, especially because they are always so colorful.

I feel like there is a meme somewhere in this pic...

Great attention to detail.

Double powdercoated wheels to get a crazy effect.

City II showed up

Love the Motocompo!
Really awesome quirky Honda detail... They don't want you to use that part as a handle to pick it up because it will crack the body. Not only is there an awesome Engrish "untouchable" but the underside is jagged to remind you not to pick it up. So awesome.
 Got to sit in it.
I wish I took a better vantage pic of this car, because the part in the back is a grill. Right is a sink, left is a fridge. Perfect tailgate car.

I thought it was cool we had a red white and blue theme going on.

Personal friends of mine. It's a couple that strips down and restores old Toyotas. They have a pristine Hachi coupe too!
The Cressida next to them, the owner inherited it from his grandfather. Awesome.

Immaculate.

One of my favorite builds of all time.

Loved this car.

This was one of my favorite cars of the day. Really nice EK, owned by a girl. It's interesting to me because girls have a very distinct way of building cars.

Michael Mao's infamous NSX.

Big Mike's always inspiring engine build.

Loved the pinstripe detail.

Plate my friend and I made for the show.

I hung out with these guys at Eibach!

Crazy H22 setup in the white Odyssey from above. It's mounted backwards.
