What cams do you guys recommend for the LS? Going to stay all motor just with bolt ons. No boost.
Stage 2 cams would probably fit you best. They have an acceptable idle and make enough power to beat most cars on the road. If you decide to go with more aggressive cams, your idle would be very bumpy and your car wouldn’t be too streetable.

Stock ls don’t have have a ton of compression to push a big cam profile, with out swapping pistons. a mild cam and a thinner head gasket about all you can do. For the cost of cams springs etc you could get a vtec head and see a bigger performance gain. Ls are capable to make power all motor, but you really gotta build them. My brother built a ls with crower cams & hi compression pistons etc and it was a blast even in a heavy DA chassis, so I’m not against building them at all
