Managed to come up on oil catch can and an auto power cage for $80
If any of you live or lived in San Diego, Pannauto Performance had a sale. Thomas the owner is finally retiring and sold the business. Today was another sale he had of misc parts, so many hawk brake pads, EBC rotors and pads, a bunch lip kits, strut tower cars. I knew what i wanted but didn’t know what he had in stock so i had search high and low. But $80 for 2 parts is a damn steal!! If your wondering about the missing bars to roll bar, I’ll end up going directly to auto power in San Diego to get the diagonal bars that bold to the rear wheel wells, then I’ll have my fabricator add 3 more bars to it and some mounts to bolt to the c-pillar where typically the seats belts mount…
Little update, stopped by workmans_racing to bring some parts and check out the block. My new pistons arrived, I’ll be running 12:1 compression arias pistons, this little B16B is gonna be
Motor is back from the machine shop and the domes on these pistons are like
So i wanted to run 11:1 pistons and well I ended going with 12:1 arias pistons instead. Bore is 81.5mm with eagle rods and a polished GSR crank, hence making the B16B now a 1.8L
I just need to order water pump, oil pump and timing tensioner. Then next is rebuilding the head.
