Glad to hear you found a painter. What color are you going with? Hope it comes out slick and with a quick turnaround!
Going with the OEM VSM color. I hope it turns out well too! Fingers crossed
Looking really good. Glad you where able to get a painter lined up, look forward to progress during paint stages
Just went through the thread, and man… The detail and parts you’re putting into it are awesome. Can’t wait to see it once you get it all dialed in.
Thank you! Slowly but surely!
Wow, I’m envious. Really nice build so far.
I swapped a B16B with the CTR trans into my EM1, here is my experience so far. Keep in mind the EM1 is obviously a lot heavier than your hatch, and I’m still running AC, Etc.
It aint fast. Its not speedy, or even quick for any type of modern car. But its super fun. And its a bit of history, hand built, way before its time, and not something you see often anymore.
If the goal is to have a fun car that’s not going to break any land speed records, its great.
Great build so far.
That’s exactly why I wanted the B16b or the B18c- fun reliability and it’s an iconic engine.
Had the glass taken out today. Test fitted a few parts and getting everything ready for paint on Tuesday.
Picked up my wheels from powder coat. And dropped the car off at paint. It’s out of my hands now lul
I dig bruh. I dig indeed
This will look great, any idea on how long the car will be at the paintshop ?
They said 3-4 weeks. It needed a lot of love. I’m ok waiting- as long as it’s done right
Yeah same here. Can’t rush people if you want good results.
I broke down and made an IG for the build. Seems
Like an easy platform to keep things up to date.
