I love the cusco cage

Thanks man most of the cars I loved in magazines growing up always had the notorious cusco cage in them so it was only necessary to get one for this build haha

Really creative build going on here not only with the single cam, but overall parts selection. :+1:

Did Cusco ever revise their connection points for the main hoop above the driver seat, that they have been known to be haphazard and hated for?

Any idea on the total weight of your cusco setup?

As far as revisions go, I’m not sure but I do know that the bolts are dome shaped Allen key so being threaded nut up the transition is super smooth to where I couldn’t see there being really much issue (skull/helmate puncturing comments you’d read over the years) haha… minus the welded tabs at the connecting points in the photo I don’t see anything overly dangerous, also thanks man I’m really trying to do it just different enough to not be the every other ek build (all of them are timeless classics) but I just want that “I’ve seen a lot of civics over the years but this one just hits different” build and parts wise with so many options now a-days and everyone going k swap (never a bad choice) I wanted to kick it old-school with that solid single cam build non tucked bay that’s just “clean” and with a quick search the 6 point weight is around 41 pounds

So tired of retailers now a days, this happens so much more often than it should… if you don’t have it in stock don’t have it available it’s as simple as that needless to say I’m not getting my sparco seats I was hyped for…

Kno the feeling. :frowning:

If you’re set on them, you’ll be able to acquire them somehow…
